A reality-based look at the vapid lives of several New Jersey 20-somethings and their respective friends and/or hook-ups. When the cast of Jersey Shore goes to Italy, they take a little of Jersey with them. And the birthplace of the Renaissance might never be the same. While embracing all that Florence has to offer -- great art, food and wine; cobblestone streets and gelato -- they've managed to remain true to who they are. After an eventful trip to Italy, the cast returns to Seaside Heights, N.J., in the Season 5 premiere. It doesn't take long for old tensions to flare, as Mike once again gets in the middle of Snooki's relationship with Jionni.
